The bracelet in the pictureon this page is my talisman. It is a Danish bracelet called Trollbeads, which gets its inspiration from nature, flora and fauna, mythology and fable. I bought it for myself a few months ago - just because I loved the idea. I do subscribe to the theory of treating myself well. I have worn it pretty near daily since. One day, I looked at it and realized that I could imbue the beads with meaning if I chose. The central one is called Three Siblings - a natural for a mother of three sons whose lives are intertwined so closely with mine. The end one is an initial J - obvious also for the love of my life, Jim. The ending one is hearts - for myself and all the love that I possess in my life and how lucky I am to have it. And the two colored ones for my two girls - pretty, lovely gems that I have received.
Now when I put it on each morning I have a tangible reminder of why it is so important to take good care of my body and soul - I have so many things to live for!! :)
